- Measure from the beginning of the neck to the base of the tail. This is the back length.
- Measure waist circumference:
- Wrap a tape measure around your dog's stomach, about 2 inches behind the front legs.
- Make sure the tape measure is snug but not too tight. This is your waist circumference.
- Measure neck circumference:
- Measure the circumference of the neck at the widest point, usually above the shoulders.
